I can't believe how many seasoned media professionals, even scientists, are sharing these 10 y o stats as though they're still true.
To be clear, any coerced or underpaid labor is unethical, ESPECIALLY if it's dangerous.
But to take this seriously, we need to be serious about getting facts right.
