Writer, artist (on occasion), and Penguins fan. I make horrible things happen to imaginary people. Pro Oxford comma. Pro em dash.

I've been writing seriously since 2007, but only feel like I got a handle on things within the last few years. He/Him.

I sure hope Muse gives that third line a run, because they were so close to scoring almost every shift they took together.

Heinen and Koppanen just don't do anything. McGroarty should be better than both of those guys, and is. But Imama actually does more than take up space. Played the game you'd except of him, and nearly scored.

Malkin had one of those Alex Kovalev, Keenan era Rangers shifts. Worked though.

That's the "Pittsburgh left." Everybody does it where I am.

I'm not 100% sure what it is. Like I said, it's fine if they're diced up small, like McDonald's does it. I like them if they're cooked and softened, like in sauces or a lot of Mexican dishes. But I hate them if they dominate anything. 🤷🏻

Yes! Bacon is ridiculously expensive now, but it is great on a burger.

I'd personally swap the onions with something else, but they look good.

I'm not an onion guy. They either have to be diced up small or cooked. Raw and in big chunks... I don't know, just don't like it.

I think Mantha only utilizes his size by moving to spots on the ice. That is, if he wants to move to a given spot on the ice he's too big to stop; he's going to make it there. And that's only useful if you can draw defenders away, then get him the puck for a shot, with limited D focusing on him.

That line hasn't been the same since Brazeau went down. It stinks, because this team is in desperate need of secondary scoring, but I think Mantha's production (or lack thereof) is directly tied to the other wing making space and dragging defenders with them.

It'd be nice if that line works. Like a lot of people, I'd really like to see Koivunen start looking like the player we saw at the end of last season. At least on paper, it looks like McGroarty, Kindel, and Koivunen are all offensive threats.

I know success in developmental leagues doesn't necessarily translate to success in the NHL, but there are finally several players in the system to be hopeful about. It's nice. Been a while.

And Imama is a player the bottom six is lacking. Probably won't light up the scoreboard, but he's good for a classic 4th line grinder role.

Heard a lot of good things about McGroarty's skating. Not that he was a bad skater, but apparently his noticeably faster and more agile. I'm wondering which line he starts on. Putting him with Crosby makes sense, but I could also understand a McGroarty - Kindel - Koivunen line.

This is a good channel for those interested in the technical side of why "AI" is a scam. He has a secondary channel, too.

I'm like this but it excludes pets. I'll remember the names of people's dogs and cats, but the hell if I remember the human's names.

I use Pages (and even Notes) for little side things too. But yeah, I created an entire plotting framework in Scrievener, and saved it as my default novel template.

I don't know what I'd do without folders, split screen (especially for edits), custom metadata, and a whole list of stuff.
