I think my new favorite daily ritual is waking up, opening Bluesky, and marveling at all of the beautiful pictures of stars, planets, galaxies, mountains, and sunsets. It gives such a wholesome and optimistic start to my day. #photography

I love when my husband gets drunk because he laughs until he cries, and his face is so beautiful and unabashedly happy when he drunk-laughs! I just wish he could be this blissfully happy when he’s sober, too. Sometimes, a good dose of alcohol is what a body needs after an especially tense period.

How am I supposed to #cook meals and follow the #FODMAP diet? My husband got put on it yesterday by his gastro, and I really want to make it work, but onions and garlic are my salt and pepper. I just ruined a pan of meatloaf tonight. I’m desperate! I can handle lactose- and dairy-free, but not this!

Yesterday was Valentine’s Day and our 18th anniversary. I’ve officially been married longer than my parents were, and I’m still so incredibly happy in my relationship. But, to be told my whole life that I’d never amount to anything, makes milestones like this all the more bittersweet.

Today is my monthly-ish shrink appointment, which is probably the only #doctor appointment I actually don’t dread. I don’t know how I got so damn lucky to get the #psychiatrist I did, but not feeling like I need to justify my literal existence to get my #ADHD meds is so freeing.

I know 2025 looks bleak but my personal annus horribilis was 2024. I experienced so much heartbreak, anxiety, depression, etc. More things went wrong than right for me. I lost a baby, got two autoimmune diagnoses, and have had to postpone IVF multiple times. I feel like 2024 taught me to handle 2025

I know 2025 looks bleak but my personal annus horribilis was 2024. I experienced so much heartbreak, anxiety, depression, etc. More things went wrong than right for me. I lost a baby, got two autoimmune diagnoses, and have had to postpone IVF multiple times. I feel like 2024 taught me to handle 2025
