I don't think this one is my jam. It is set in a cool world, but 4 POVs means that a lot of worldbuilding gets lost in moving the plot along. I think it might have benefitted from being turned into two books so that we can sit with the characters and world more, and the ending feels a bit abrupt.

I don't know how easy or not it would be to do this, but I'd be fascinated to see an energy consumption comparison between a week when I'm on vacation v. a week when my husband's on vacation. He leaves so many lights on throughout the house...
And then to be able to compare it to a normal week too.

There are a lot of books that people read in high school that I didn't - this is one of them. I like how hopeful the ending is.

It wasn't the smoothest reading (many pauses for a few days, one for about a month) but I finished the Emily Wilde series. I really enjoyed them - a different take on Fae than romantasy takes, and I adored Emily and Wendell's relationship.

Someone put on Kpop Demon Hunters in the bar of the restaurant we're at right before we came in - for a movie that's all about music, it's an interesting choice to have on a muted tv.

A couple years ago I said that there would eventually be a fascinating 30 for 30 on Michigan and all the NCAA shenanigans that were happening.
