We're back with a non-Christmas Christmas special, which accidentally turned out to be something of a Ford takeover.

This week, there's an XR3i Cabriolet restoration project, an incredibly rare Mondeo, and a list of insults levelled at the Scorpio!

One Ford dealer produced a limited edition of a limited edition with 10 150bhp Mondeo SRIs spread across their Hampshire outlets.

Our Christmas gift to you is all 27 episodes of this nonsense and a GIF of Santa driving a Caterham (or possibly a Westlake).

It's better than watching the Little and Large Christmas Special or Holiday On The Buses.

An oddly-specific 211 Mondeo SI Citrines were made and it's believed fewer than 50 are left.

We found out there's far more to it than looking like you're driving around in a tennis ball on this week's podcast.

This XR3i Cabriolet was bought with the intention to restore it until, apparently, life got in the way.

At least it's not made of cheap steel from the Soviet Union, though.

We're coming for you, Top Gear...

(Ok, so they haven't published a new podcast for over a year but still)

Last call for this week's podcast.

What else are you going to do on the shortest day of the year?
This week, we've found a Fiat Barchetta which has travelled from Italy to the UK via Japan, and the outrageously nutty Daihatsu YRV Turbo 130.

Plus, the Duckhams Cosworth competition mystery deepens and some Street Fighter Lexus news.

Can't even remember the last time we saw a Fiat in real life, to be honest.

Anyway, cheers!

Another edition of automotive weirdness. The cars we found for sale on Facebook this week: a well-travelled Fiat roadster and a rather lairy Daihatsu.

"Eye-watering acceleration" was apparently such a big selling point for the Daihatsu YRV Turbo that they mentioned it in all-caps red bold italic lettering on their advertising bumf.

And now a word from our new sponsor, where you can buy all of your nodding dogs, tiger tails for your aerial, and those fake hands which make it look like you've got a body in the boot.

The Citroen CX certainly had some characters who were admirers too, as we found out on last week's podcast.

Did you know Daihatsu is Japanese for 'big engine manufacturer'?

It might seem ironically named, but they have come up with some mad sporty versions of their boxy city cars like this Daihatsu YRV Turbo we found.

We looked at a Hummer H2 being sold by someone who, somewhat mysteriously, claimed they could acquire vehicles from Ukraine in episode five.

We still haven't figured out if it's better or worse than a Peugeot 406 Coupe though.

This week's episode sees us looking at two ridiculously overpowered executive saloons with a Ford Scorpio Cosworth and a Citroen CX Turbo.

Drag coefficients! 1980s dictators! Grace Jones! Plus, a painting that proves a car really can be art.

Our interest was piqued by a Lexus LS400 taking a kicking in the new Street Fighter movie trailer.

We wonder if this one comes with a whisky glass like the LS400 we found on Facebook Marketplace?
