Here’s what the Dem position on trans rights should be: We are Americans. So we believe in freedom. That means the freedom to be the best American you wanna be. If you want to control people go to a theocracy or back in time to commie Russia. This is America and these colors don’t run.
On the issue of trans rights the Republican Party had a clear and bigoted message. The Democratic Party position wasn’t too “woke,” it was “if we close our eyes and pretend this away it will disappear.” That’s cowardice AND political dumbassery.
