When you said on the pod you were going to the game "to see VJ" after he was already on the injury report questionable with illness I knew this was exactly what was going to happen.

Oh for sure! It was just phrased to make it sound like they'd gone 40 straight drives without having to punt when at the time it was like 10 (arbitrary end dates!)

Lol that note about the Niners not having punted is hilarious because at that point they'd only played 1 game in December. 11/30 was a Sunday and their bye was the 7th. Their first game in December was the Titans last week.

Roster and game decision philosophy would likely be very similar, but I think it's fair to credit Nick with Monday to Saturday managerial acumen. He takes all the blame and deflects it from his players and coaches, and he has a pro bowl roster all rowing in the same direction (last 4 weeks aside).
