If you are a federal worker being offered a buyout, I would advise against taking it.
Of course, this is a personal decision for everyone and it’s your choice.
But these offers are a rush job. The legality is questionable and this admin does not keep to its word.
They aren’t firing for a reason.

A President should not be publicly speculating about an accident while the recovery effort is still underway and the investigation has barely begun, when there has been no comment from the NTSB. Expressing grief for the loss and support for the investigation should be the entirety of the comments.
We are watching in realtime the systematic unraveling of decades aviation safety accident investigative precedent and process from the President of the United States.

I worked on a coworker’s car today and was paid in lumpia and pancit. Every time this happens I get the urge to live in a community where everyone just trades goods and services like that.

I took the plunge and deleted Twitter. I felt myself going back to it over and over again, even though it would only serve me infuriating content. I can totally see how these algorithms can completely fry your brain chemistry.
