Even though we work on KOSA everyday, we didn’t know what bills would be in last weeks’ markup until 48 hours before the hearing.

![Hi there, My name is (your name) and I am calling to oppose multiple harmful internet bills that are moving through Congress right now. I oppose all bills that mandate online ID checks, infringe upon our constitutional right to free speech on the internet, enable government policing of online resources, and threaten end-to-end encryption. If you truly care about young people’s experience on the internet, you should pass comprehensive data privacy legislation and oppose any bill that forces Internet users to submit to ID checks or would censor the internet, like the SCREEN Act, App Store Accountability Act, and KOSA
additionally, I want to advocate for section 230, which I have seen multiple legislators call for repealing. Section 230 is integral to a free and open internet, and repealing it would destroy the internet as we know it and countless livelihoods. I do not want to see section 230 repealed, I want to see it protected.
