This is why online ID checks / age verification is incompatible with the 1st amendment and human rights.

This is surreal. 4 Oglala Lakota men kidnapped by ICE in Minneapolis have finally been located. One of them was released but the other 3 are being held at Fort Snelling, a former concentration camp used to imprison Native people incl. the Dakota 38 during Dakota Wars.

A reminder: even if you’re not out in the streets, there are steps you can take to protect your community from ICE

1- Report ICE activity via tip-line
2- Pressure local leaders to cut contracts + budgets for the fancy surveillance toys ICE use to terrorize our communities in the first place
January 14, 2026 at 10:04 PM
Digital hygiene is essential to evade ICE surveillance toys:
- set-up that burner phone
- keep devices in a Faraday bag
- USE SIGNAL, USE SIGNAL, USE SIGNAL
January 14, 2026 at 10:04 PM
We need to be very real about this: ICE is absolutely racially profiling (special thanks to SCOTUS for the justification on this one).

Black and Brown people generally are at risk, especially those w/immigration status.

Democrats officially going all in on the mealy mouthed “ICE needs training” narrative.

No. ABOLISH ICE.
WARNER: It used to take 5 to 6 months to get trained. They've now lowered the training period to 47 days. Why 47 days? Because Donald Trump's the 47th president. Tell me that's a rational approach

KERNEN: I'm not taking that bait

WARNER: Joe! You can't pick your facts

Difficult to understate what will happen if any of these bills pass. And shame on @warren.senate.gov for co-sponsoring KOSA. If she doesn’t change course she’s an enemy of the LGBTQ+ that she supposedly supports
Please keep calling your reps to demand they oppose KOSA and other internet censorship bills!
It appears that some members of the Democratic Party are supporting KOSA.

The act purports to be about protecting children, but it could weaponize Trump's FTC to target LGBTQ+ content on the internet.
