After making this confusing defence of polluter ads on London public transport, the Mayor then reveals that they only make up between 0.01-0.02% of ad revenue. 🥲

In response, the Mayor first highlighted that ad revenue - even from polluting industries - funds "clean and sustainable alternatives to car use". 🤔

Translation: it's okay to promote companies that are encouraging the public to not use London's sustainable transport options. 🙃 2/7

These major cities have ALL banned fossil fuel adverts. These ads have massive climate and health impacts, all while targeting politically influential decision makers.
