The lamp's gonna stand on a dark brown side table next to a medium grey sofa. They're similar in size.
I love the darker base of the one on the right, but the textured shade of the other one (not available on its own) probably makes better light and has a nicer colour.

My first Christmas tree since, uhm, 2001, I think. It's tiny and fake but looks surprisingly good. Yay. 🎄
I have to tweak the branches a bit more.
There's still mostly chaos in the new place but I hope the worst will be gone by Wednesday. I might decorate the tree then. If I can still move.

The selfish, cruel, entitled, garbage parents who hurt their children so badly, it's less painful for us to have no parents at all than it is to keep them in our lives and allow them to keep hurting us are the REAL victims, you see. 🙄

There's so much dust in the air from all the moving related stuff & the fact that I don't clean anymore, haven't for three months (CFS, fibro, a severe UTI and something I won't talk about 💩; I need to be strategic with the energy I don't have), that sometimes I think I'm suffocating. Exhausting.
