After losing over 240,000 km² in the last 3 days, I'm calling the Arctic sea-ice extent maximum for this year.
This year's maximum extent set a new record low of 13,783,000 km², beating the previous record low maximum set in 2017 by over 95,000 km².
Interesting times.
