My cat had pancreatitis, couldn’t keep food down and had blood in her stool. Meds didn’t work, special diet didn’t work. She could’ve gone on IV fluids in the animal hospital but she would’ve hated it and there was no guarantee it’d work. For some cats the illness is manageable, for her it wasn’t.
