I’m slowly re-emerging into the world. My brain has been silent hill fog lately and I’ve struggled to catch up on my grad assignments. I have 1000 calls to make and things to order. Things to build. My grandma was supposed to be at Plot Twist Cafe for opening day, but life happens. We keep going.

There’s no easy way to say this, but it feels wrong to just disappear and reappear without talking about it at all.

My grandma unexpectedly passed at the end of last week.

This has put a slight delay on Bookstore Things (not major, further updates soon) but ya know. It’s been tough.

The Devil in the Woods, my teen horror, takes place during October & ends on Halloween! What better way to invite you to give it a look than with snippets?

Felix is our main character and starts the novella going to debunk an urban legend (too bad it's real)!

I had a 100% "healthy" pregnancy and delivery, and along with a great kiddo I also got permanent hip issues, nerve damage and pain, and exacerbated digestion issues.

Appreciate you sharing your experience! I was wondering if it would be possible to gain visibility by posting some parts of the book on popular web serial platforms, but that still doesn’t necessarily translate to sales when many teens have no income.

That’s kinda what I’m wondering. Teens read on free serial sites when online in my experience. More AO3 and Wattpad realm. Not so much on like Kindle, Nook, Kobo etc. which is fine, but also makes it to where unless the books are in stores for YAs to find, then they probably won’t move numbers?
