Classic cars, vintage technology, music, amateur radio.
Tipping my hat to those who created technology in the past
When does it cease to be a game.
More fun working in a customer complaints call centre I imagine.

Hi yes it is a 1300FWD.
Nothing to do with the front wheel drives that BMC did.
Same engine as the spitfire with the engine mounted on top of yhe gearbox and diff feeding the front wheels via rubber drive doughnuts and CV joints.

I have two Triumphs, A Herald and a 1300. I wonder if he played any part in those?

It is not that pristine up close it is clearly used often. Cars need to be used.
Sadly I did not get a chance to speak to the owner.

Louvain has sneaked across the Bristol Channel!
It is a lovely little church in such an exposed spot.
We got absolutely soaked walking there and were very relieved when it was open and we took shelter.

I own two elderly Triumphs and have owned another 3 in my time. I guess that counts as collecting...

That is probably an error due to atrocious photography.
It was a piece of wood from the scrap bin so it may be out but did not look too bad.

Agreed he was not the CEO but has hit the headlines in a comparable way.

Totally. If I was in a tourist based industry in the USA I would be reading up on the bankuptcy laws...

In the UK we call that a Gerald Ratner moment.
