I first played TLJ with my step-mom and still have my game box for it. 10/10 wish I could replay for the first time again.

The Longest Journey is my #1 game. April Ryan and Crow forever. So good. Also point-and-click adventure games in general, honestly.

While interesting, I think that it can feel bad sometimes and to an almost "what's the point level."

I think I might agree because in a large enough group, stress will continue to build up at a faster rate which makes players risk averse. I recently ran Year of the Rat where I had a player at almost full health but had 2 conditions that kept eating away at their stats based on what the party did.

Reading this after skating 50 laps last night at practice. As a newbie skater, the idea of apex jumping terrifies me hahaha.
