Antisemitism is truly an evil that is absolutely on the rise. But it's pretty audacious for celebrities to use the phrase "Silence is complicity" while having said nothing as thousands of Palestinian children have been killed by Israel in Gaza. Both must be spoken about.

I like Bluesky but I think the Internet needs to get back to message boards and forums. Not these social media owned by people trying to get rich. In fact, I think we will see many get back to this. You can't beat being part of a non profit forum that has strong community and moderation.

The sad thing is how much Zuckerberg and Meta really have my online life in a chokehold. I could live without Messenger even though I use it everyday. But WhatsApp and Instagram are a crucial way I keep in touch with certain people.

I don't believe people joined Bluesky expecting it to be perfect. At least i didn't. I joined it as an alternative to Elon's propaganda tool full of bots and Nazis and white supremacists. As well as just an increasingly dark and unpleasant experience .
