🇨🇦 Kindness, love, and nature. I find solace in the forest, listening to the trees sing. When I can't go there, I crochet. 🧶
Let's do this now!! 🐦

As the autumn colours dance among the trees and I feel the cooling winds carry the change of seasons, I am transported to a place unknown yet familiar. Somewhere far away from the chaotic world we live in, to a place of peace, tranquility, and awe. A place where my soul can breathe. ~ tth

Stopped at The New Denmark Train Bridge this weekend. In the middle of NB, Canada sits New Denmark, the oldest Danish settlement in Canada. Population 1,424. The train bridge crosses the Salmon River. It stands 60 m (198 ft) and spans 1,194.397 m (3,918 ft 7+1⁄2 in). Amazing to stand beneath.

Just clouds.

In a turbulent sky, storm clouds twist and tumble, gathering rain to quench a thirst deep beneath the surface.

In fields of green, flowers bloom where a home once stood. Potatoes fill the fields and farmers tend their crops.

New growth, stretching to the sun, then resting under the waxing moon.

I repotted 13 pine trees that I planted in the spring of '24. I picked up some pinecones in the forest and planted the seeds they held. 13 are surviving and thriving after a winter spent outdoors

As I was walking through the yard today, I came upon this beautiful tulip in bloom. It made for a pretty picture.

Headed to Labrador to hang with my mom, a working vacation of sorts. Make time to spend with those you love before you're left wishing you had. My mom is 90 and active, but I will not take for granted the time we have left to spend together. I'm looking forward to the next two weeks with her. 💕 ✈️

A Chevron blanket I began on Christmas Eve, should be completed by next Christmas. 😆 The starting row is 322 chains, 11 peaks, working in single crochet, back loop only. The colours show different on each side. 🧶

Treasures found while hiking through an old farm field. A wagon wheel, an old barrell, and what appears to be the remnants of an old wringer washer. The stories these items could tell, I'm sure, are many.

🇨🇦 Canadian schools should start introducing courses such as this. Teach young people how to source the truth and decipher the lies.
