We demand that the US and the Philippine governments take immediate action to protect Chantal’s rights and well-being.

We demand an end to the bombings and human rights violations of the Marcos government and all US-backed regimes across the globe. End US-backed human rights violations.

This isn’t the end of this fight, but it shows that organizing works. We still have a long way to go before true justice is served and ICE is abolished once and for all. If you’d like to get plugged in about next steps, join us at our first Sanctuary Maryland happy hour. Details TBA.

At night, the system transformed the tower into a giant torch. The system was unveiled on New Year’s Eve 1929 during a large ceremony. Believing the tower was on fire, a police officer rushed in and attempted to evacuate the gathered dignitaries to “safety,” but he was ignored.
