We have about half the number of staff that we had in November, and we are working on these expedited schedules….

If it really was a decision by USAID, there should be a piece of paper or an electronic message from Secretary Rubio himself, saying, “I'm approving this.” Marocco said he had the authority. The Trump administration has laid off the entire 18F office, a digital services unit within the General Services Administration, per email shared with me.

A LOT of credit for this has been laid at the feet of "he's a nazi", but I don't actually think that's true. He's been a repulsive piece of shit for a very, very long time, and it never had even the slightest impact on sales.
