Yeah that’s why this didn’t really go anywhere, but I agree a metro line alone this corridor would be way better. North Ave, Harford Rd, Liberty Heights Ave, Loch Raven Blvd, to name a few all have space that could accommodate dedicated streetcar lanes.

There was even a proposal for a north-south line from the Inner Harbor to University Parkway

They only have the drive on the light rail tracks because of the cars that park on the curb along Howard Street!
