We’ve just reunited a missing cat (missing since 20/01) with her people. She’s been hanging in our yard for a bit but we mistook her for another cat in the street that hangs here, daughter realised they were not the same cat.. checked FB lost cats, long story short Prickles is back with her peeps 🤗

I don’t have one of those moveable shower heads, just a static overhead one. I’ve just cleaned the shower walls, took hose down side of house, put through window and used that to rinse the walls & I have to wonder why I was made redundant when I’m clearly a frickin genius

It’s my last week of work at my place of work, after 25 years and 7 months and so many of my colleagues across the org have contacted me to say they’re sorry I’m leaving, which is so SO nice, and no one has even mentioned that I’ve obviously been lying about my age for at least a decade

Ōtautahi friends, if you like the theatre, I recommend popping along to see Under Milkwood this weekend coming, produced by Hwyl Theatre, it’s on at the Lyttelton Arts Factory.. completely delightful, I enjoyed it so much (also my son is in it). It really is very good, reviewers said so too 😊.

I’ve just made this for my sister in law’s birthday and I’m quite pleased with how it’s turned out. And I only burnt my self with hot glue once.

I finally watched Mr Organ last night and WTAF. @davidfarrier.bsky.social I had to watch a couple of episodes of Frasier (my comfort show) to try get it out of my head. Struggled to explain it to my son, could only come up with I AM DEEPLY UNSETTLED and I don’t know why. Incredible. Bonkers.

I’ve just been out in the garden, I have tulips and freesias and grape hyacinths and aquilegias out, rhododendron and camellia and a load of blossom on the cherry tree.. daisies in the lawn..pansies and mum’s polyanthus’ and no bees. Not one.

Have just been to see Maurice & I, Ōtautahi friends I recommend it, completely delightful. There is some quake footage, so something to be mindful of if that is not something you want to see.

I’m watching the end of the women’s marathon, just the Bhutanese lady still going, long after the rest have finished - hundreds running along side supporting her this is beyond awesome. We got Bhutan in the office Olympics so I’m with her 100%!
