i understand why fujimoto killed yoshida, and maybe i am bitter that he died to due his adherence to staying a dog, and that he will not be able to find happiness or seek a world he can exist in. part of it is me being a stan, but yeah. it still leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

Disney did not take a bribe/money. They're investing equity in OpenAI to allow users to make AI slop of their character. So this is not a bribe and a lot worse. In fairness to Kotaku, they did change the headline later to be more accurate.

My criticism of the story as it stands is not wether or not the ending will be “good” or “bad” that is largely interpretive n csm is rarely any of those things straightforwardly It’s that it still has every non Denji character feel so underutilized
