This episode is great b/c it situates the sexual division of labor in “historical” terms (the subjugation of women in the past) that parallels w/ sex discrimination in modern workplaces (using historical accuracy as a veneer for it) & wraps it all up w/ the sex dynamics in Hank and Peggy’s marriage.
I love the King of The Hill episode where Peggy unionizes the renaissance fair.

There’s a guy that posts these really elaborate monologue videos and always links them to like material conditions and other Marxist adjacent things.
I think that guy is doing too much, I don’t think people run because they’re desperately trying to escape the realities of capitalism.

The testosterone maxing community is a thing of wonders, and it’s hilarious to me that their spokesperson is a 15 year old pretending to be 19/ or a 19 year old deeply insecure about looking 15 that he posts constantly about “boosting test.”

Not to diminish the legitimate concept of recovering from trauma that has been inflicted upon you, but social media content about “healing” is feeling very played out and shallow.
