Room 3 thoroughly enjoyed their Christmas STEM Activity today! They had to build slides to allow their block “penguin” to slide down from the top of the “mountain” to the bottom! They showed great problem solving and teamwork skills! #BankheadwillSOAR

Room 4 enjoyed taking part in another STEM activity this morning 🧪🧑🔬👩🔬. Today they were investigating the effects of mixing vinegar and baking soda - they observed that when these 2 substances mix together they cause a chemical reaction. #BankheadWillSOAR

Room 8 kept warm by the fire and toasted some marshmallows. They then produced some fabulous procedure writing, detailing the steps involved to make s'mores... we all agreed that the most important step was to enjoy the tasty treat!
