I love how he validates the child — “Yes” = assumes it’s the same question, “also” = agrees, and “the snake” = the child described a specific thing and that’s exactly the same one ZM chooses, like they’ve both seen the same animal. So much communication in just a few words!

My dog Izzy LOVED when the gate got left open. Zero traffic sense and highly unreliable recall: best solution was to drive out in the car and open the door when we found her and she’d happily jump in, every time.
