Was a young mom with 2 kids in the 70’s. It was hard for all working families except the wealthy. I was a homemaker, l learned to cook everything from scratch and baked bread every week. Sewed all of my clothes and for the kids. It was rough. Never ate out. One car. I walked everywhere.
