I will say that, using screen to print as a guideline: generally the only colors that cannot be as vibrant after this transition are saturated greens and purples. But that's based on what a CMYK printer can do, not what the physical world can do.

This is an interesting experiment. As a graphic artist, I couldn't do it, but I'm curious what you'll find.
