This is not hard. Artists are not responsible for ensuring the Kennedy Center remains relevant and successful. The center’s board is responsible for that, in a fiduciary way. All of this energy being directed at artists should be re-directed at the board.

My partner, an employee at a small public school, had a mandatory AI seminar recently. Some goon got up in front of all of the staff and basically gave them an extended sales pitch for how to rely more strongly on AI in their work, and how to encourage our children to rely on it too.
