A U.S. citizen says ICE forced open the door to his Minnesota home and removed him in his underwear after a warrantless search
The Department of Homeland Security says the operation targeted two sex offenders, but Thao disputes this, saying he lives with his family, none of whom are listed as offenders.

Posted deep in a reply thread but as a response to main, this is probably the best thing to read on the subject taranis.ie/datacenters-...
Datacenters in space are a terrible, horrible, no good idea.
There is a rush for AI companies to team up with space launch/satellite companies to build datacenters in space. TL;DR: It's not going to work.

Even the people I know who had used actual floppy disks called them floppies, then turned to us, the children, and went "back in my day floppy disks were actually floppy"

Do you like retro gaming? Theyre both really amazing for what they were doing at the time, but both definitely show their age, especially in the speed of gameplay.

In the depths of 2020 I scoured every "best science fiction movies" list i could find for things to watch, and the two movies on *all* of them that I had never heard of were this and Dark City, which both turned out to be amazing.

I got to see it for the first time in June and what amazed me was *how* Baz Luhrmann it was for being his first movie. Like his style didn't change much with his later movies, he just got a bigger budget to do it justice.

I heard some professor put googly eyes on a pencil and waved it at his class saying "HI! I'm Tim the pencil! I love helping children with their homework but my favorite is drawing pictures!"
Then, without warning, he snapped the pencil in half.

Historically I know they've updated DTRPG books, but I dont know what the tail on it is - I can see some of my books in there have a bunch of previous editions in their history, and I'm new enough to BT to not have been around for most of those updates. Makes sense that their store updates first tho

From what I can tell they've updated the PDF on the catalyst store to the second edition but have not updated the one on DriveThruRPG as of yet
