My dream job would be a researcher for a YouTube channel or podcast. I am so good at finding information. I once found a student film from a Maine college in the 90’s based off a friend saying they saw it at a VHS rental store. I actually gave a copy to the director of the film, who didn’t have it.
I have a new cat. Her name is Yuri and she’s never done anything wrong (she is a menace who would commit murder for cheese)

Pittsburgh Mills mall may be the weirdest dead mall I’ve ever been in because it doesn’t seem like anyone informed the mall it was dead.

A conservator told me that artists are the worst at taking care of their art and I informed her that my one piece of internationally touring art - that I am best known for - is currently wrapped in a trash bag in my garage, the only place with termite damage in my house.

The funniest part of fanbinding is sometimes you're like "oh I need like a ream of bible paper to make this project a reality" and then realize it's shockingly hard to buy bible paper but you're too far in now.

A weird thing about my job is that Halloween is probably our busiest season.

Sitting on the ground outside a Home Depot for 30 minutes really reinforces how hostile the US is to pedestrians.

Love to open at work and be like “wow, this is trashed, no one did closing right” and then check the schedule to see that it was your supervisor who closed

There are a few Goodreads commenters who very confidently say it doesn’t say this - but that’s probably because it’s a throwaway line. Legitimately this throws so much of the rest of the book into question if this made it through writing and editing.

The Fort Bragg Cartel: Drug Trafficking and Murder in the Special Forces by Seth Harp

About drug abuse/trafficking in the military, and was a solid read until exactly 60% when the writer said that COVID came from a lab. I double checked because it came from nowhere. Immediate DNF
