I can suspend disbelief enough to accept the Upside Down and demogorgons. But nobody in real life would ever hate The Clash. That is bad writing and a plot hole.

In “Marge Be Not Proud” Bart screams “Buy Me Bonestorm or go to hell!” Marge says no. At the end of the episode, she says she had to ask “the clerk” (presumably Comic Book Guy) which video game cartridge “every boy wants” to know which one to get. How did she forget about Bonestorm so quickly?
