Billionaires can't take their assets with them anyway.

The Duke of Westminster for example can't just move his property portfolio abroad.

So a lot of scaremongering from the media is overblown ..

No histrionics - no controversial quotes - no hairdryers flying around the dressing room.

Just quietly getting on with the job with poise and decency.

I had my doubts on day one - could not be happier to have been proven wrong.

Not my favourite bank for professional reasons but I can't speak to their 'dodginess'

Whilst it's true rich that people pay a lot in taxes, the ones who are leaving don't pay much tax anyway. I am therefore not that bothered about them.

Let them bog off !

There's been a lot of coverage in the media today of the 1,200 or so Israelis killed by Hamas on 7/10/2023.

Israel has responded with nothing less than a genocide that few in the media seem to care about.

So to the families of the 65,000 Palestinians murdered, know that many care about you too.

I'm sure this will be cited as evidence that Labour is scaring the rich into leaving the UK.

I have no idea what this guy paid in income tax but he spent most of his time in the UAE anyway so will probably have been non resident already - therefore unlikely to be paying anything.

No great loss !

He should have invoked it when there was a real insurrection on the US Capitol.

Had Biden been smarter, he could and should have invoked it as soon as he got in and sorted this whole lot (including Trump) out.

Her only qualification seems to be rabid right wingery.
