Like, my point isn't "copyright doesn't do enough to protect artists"; it's "copyright is literally designed to hurt artists". I absolutely do think a better world would be a world where everything is just public domain. That thread even mentions alternative propositions so artists get paid!

And this is another reason. False positives of "AI" art is constant in TTRPGs because Midjourney and others admit to heavily training on fantasy art from D&D and M:TG. This is especially true of "AI detector" sites, which are themselves "AI" and can't tell the difference.
False accusations of AI usage can and does happen with some regularity, and it is incredibly disappointing to see. There's one game in particular which got accused of using AI generated voice acting, when I knew for a fact it absolutely did not because I know some of the voice actors involved.
