What an afternoon at @barneskidslitfest.bsky.social! We doodled! We quizzed! We acted! There was chaos, as is Loki's right. #KidLitUK @walkerbooksuk.bsky.social

Me gesticulating on stage while I run a quiz for the audience in kitson hall about "which norse god are you?". We see the backs of heads. Taking photos of events with kids is a real art, avoiding any faces.

A pavement with a word chalked on it. That word is Loki. There's an arrow pointing onwards. Then, a few paving stones ahead, there are four arrows pointing in four different directions. I blame Loki. It's incredible everyone found their way to the venue tbh.

I had a lovely time @barneskidslitfest.bsky.social today. The event was sold out. Waterstones sold out of Hunt for the Golden Scarabs, and all the readers I met were wonderful. Huge thanks goes to all the unpaid organisers & volunteers who care so much about inspiring children to read. 🥰📚
