'I know writers who use subtext and they're all cowards'
I know I'm nitpicking and arguing with the author about something that's clearly stated in the text but this character has existed before and I just can't reconcile the Sutekh who calls the Doctor a "grovelling insect" to the one who's waiting for the DNA results like he's on The Jeremy Kyle Show

I just don't believe if Sutekh has been in the Tardis since Pyramids of Mars and has sat through, the Time War/Flux/ Dimensions in Time this is the first time he's thought "hold the fuck up, that's going on here?!!!!"

I do like the notion of "this ordinary woman is more important than gods or lords of time" I really do. But there's just something about this that just doesn't pass the smell test

I like to think Gatwa decided to leave Doctor Who when he read the line about Ruby's mum naming her by pointing at a sign

Doctor Who and the Empire of Dirt. It's hard to know where to start with this one but I'll begin by saying if I was BBC TVs Dr Who I would be less of a whiny bitch about killing the god of death.

Having Rose Noble in the episode is baffling on 3 counts, first it reminds you she lives with another Dr Who, second her and Lenny Rush are child solders what the hell Kate Stewart? Thirdly she does nothing to contribute, waste of time getting Yasmin Finney on set

Doctor Who and the Legend of Set Ups. Really liked this one on broadcast, I was invested in the mystery, cliffhanger had me hooting with excitement, all good stuff. On a rewatch knowing the resolution, the episode still has enough momentum to sweep you up, but its a rather hollow viewing experience
