If you are not aware that we have been striking and protesting, you have not been paying attention.

But the illusion that a strike or march can get rid of Trump is just that: a delusion.

Trump is a wannabe dictator. He sends the military to harass us. And he will not leave.

That’s just a fact.
January 21, 2026 at 4:02 PM
Lmao. I see that your problem is that you have no political experience.

I marched in 2016. I marched 3 times last year with my friends. We have other marches planned.

The marches may affect his policies. They may affect his approval ratings.

But they still will not get rid of Trump.
January 21, 2026 at 3:44 PM
See how silly your accusations are? Those marches against ICE have no chance of getting rid of Trump.

I have participated in marches against Trump as well.

It still doesn’t change the truth. Marching will show him that we don’t support him or his policies.

But it won’t actually get rid of him.
January 21, 2026 at 3:29 PM
Your knowledge of politics apparently stops at European borders.

I will spell it out again: Our Constitution does not give ordinary citizens a route to remove Trump.

Your message that we’re “the ones that put him there” is absolutely idiotic.

His racist followers put him there. You “Get a grip!”
January 21, 2026 at 3:13 PM
I have fought Trump since he appeared on the scene, while you were picking flowers.

Our Constitution stifled my votes. There is no pathway to remedy that.

You get a grip on the reins of that prancing high horse of yours.

I am not embarking on a Civil War. Elect leaders who will rebuff him.
January 21, 2026 at 3:00 PM
Ah, no worries. I love your state. All of New England in fact. I have never been, but it’s hot on my list.

I would go to Vermont just to see Bernie Sanders . . .
January 21, 2026 at 2:29 AM
They are violating the Fourth Amendment rights of citizens by accosting them without probable cause.

They’re guilty of a plethora of state crimes, including - at a minimum - assault and battery.

Why aren’t state police arresting them? The timidity of blue states is enraging.
January 21, 2026 at 2:23 AM
What annoys me about the Second Amendment is the dishonest interpretation of it, which prevents us from having any debates about guns at all.

In law school, you are taught that every single word in a constitutional provision has value. But they never pay heed to the word “militia” in the 2nd Amend.
January 21, 2026 at 2:17 AM
I wasn’t. And Massachusetts is one of my favorite states that I have never been to. But thanks . . .
January 21, 2026 at 2:14 AM
Yeah, all that fantasizing about using the 2d Amend. to defend ourselves from a tyrannical govt.

But when the tyrannical govt. came, they forgot their pledge and joined up.

I am black though, a former prosecutor and a different kind of liberal.

I am armed to the teeth. I don’t trust the majority.
January 21, 2026 at 2:04 AM
Our system is designed for a tyranny of the minority, now enforced by a malicious SCOTUS.

There is no reason for gerrymandering, it should not be legal. But as a black person, my vote can be neutered, just like that.

I didn’t have any say in Trump becoming President. But they blame it on us.
January 21, 2026 at 1:59 AM
For being a country armed to the teeth, we can be remarkably docile, with too much dependence on a Constitution designed to thwart the will of the majority.

Unlike the first Civil War, people are far more intermingled within the states. There may be pockets of violence. But no war on a large scale.
January 20, 2026 at 11:57 PM
I will look her up. Thing is, I am a Constitutional Lawyer.

Our system was designed right from the start for a tyranny of the minority.

Gerrymandering. Electoral college. A Senate were each state gets two seats regardless of size. SCOTUS.

Let’s say that it’s looking grim. SCOTUS must be reformed.

I hope he is found slumped over on one of his golden toilets, having found his demise of natural causes.

And on that day, that hour, that minute, he will have fulfilled the prophecy.

He would have finally made America great again . . .
January 20, 2026 at 11:41 PM
Of course not. I get your point. But I think it is unreasonable and unrealistic to expect us to launch into a Civil War at this point.

Trump is a menace, but we have a chance to get rid of him in 3 years.

We at least need to give that a chance to happen, before indulging in a Civil War.
January 20, 2026 at 11:34 PM
I think they are finally getting around to rebuffing Trump.

The fact that they expect us to engage in Civil War, when nearly a million Americans died in the last one is irrational to me.

The last Civil War was more than a century ago and it was that destructive.

Imagine doing that again now.
January 20, 2026 at 11:32 PM
750,000 Americans died in the last Civil War. Compared to the 145,000 who died in the breakup of Yugoslavia.

It was death on an unthinkable scale. Our population has since exploded and the deadliness of said population.

You will not meet many liberals that think Civil War beats waiting out Trump.
January 20, 2026 at 10:49 PM
I don’t get it. We also have the largest military and law enforcement in the world. And he’s commander-in-chief.

They want us to engage in civil war? That’s a huge ask, particularly when the opposition party are liberals.

When was the last time any “first world” country had a civil war.
January 20, 2026 at 9:23 PM
We’re doing that. There is so much anger.

But there is not a single thing we can do to oust Trump. Unless Congress acts, he will be in office for 4 years.

The best we can hope for is that Dems capture the House and attempt to rein in his excesses.

We’re trying, in spite of a hostile SCOTUS . .
January 20, 2026 at 9:18 PM
I don’t understand this perspective.

I am a lawyer. There is absolutely nothing the average American can do to oust Trump.

There is no mechanism for it, period.

All 3 branches of govt are corrupt, and that’s something the Founding Fathers did not contemplate.

Should we take up arms?
January 20, 2026 at 9:03 PM
Yes, the Mad King is indeed mad. To the point of inviting Brandon Stark and Rickard Stark into King’s Landing for their horrific deaths.

As much as that equivalent can be applied to a democracy. Or a Republic. Which makes the fact that Congress is tagging along, also insane.
