That's because they are replacing Guhle, Dach, Newhook, Laine. Team would be better without the multiple long term injuries. The entire 2nd line is out. It's actually quite impressive that they are still contending.

Thankfully for Canada I really doubt they take him. Unless Hughes as ND Sanderson are injured. Maybe Fox injury opens the door but they are going big. They've said as much

Seemed obvious to me that it was Landeskog that kneed the back of Anderson causing him to fall. Landeskog went to the net on his own

I mean it's not like he forgot how to play goal. I was not a fan when he first got claimed but he won me over. Eventually he was going to find it.

Good piece Brian. Love the enthusiasm and agree it's time for the haters to STFU. Matheson is a homegrown defensemen whose pros far outweigh his gaffes. Especially this year.

Objectively, a very digestible contract that, if things evolve, would still be tradable. I don't think the local connection gets enough mention. This guy would do anything to bring the Habs a cup and his evolution and this contract proves it.

That would have been a benchable turnover had Utah not given it right back. Nice recovery tho for Bo and mishandling by Caufield froze the goalie.

Strong first for the Top line. 2nd line pretty invisible. FX seems to have good chemistry with Anderson.
