Mom, gramma, retired educator; not tired of learning and teaching. Passions: climate action, community, music, art, cooking, outdoors, Pilates, travel, and a bit of politics, too. Proudly 🇨🇦
Yes, focusing on the environment in this #ClimateCrisis is integral to a healthy prosperous Canadian lifestyle for future generations. Unfortunately, the
AB MOU signals the lack of environmental seriousness, and, blatant greenwashing, taken by @mark-carney.bsky.social . Very disappointing.

Stephen Guilbeault’s integrity is commendable. A provincial carve-out will snowball to other jurisdictions, an environmentally risky pipeline to the west coast will likewise snowball. The lack of a credible climate action plan- evidence-based- in a #ClimateCrisis is irresponsible and destructive.

Putting morals and values before politics. Steven Guilbeault will no doubt find a better way than @mark-carney.bsky.social to fight #climatecrisis

Tonight maybe my FAVOURITE recent book in the #UrbanismBookClub —“EMERGENT TOKYO: Designing the Spontaneous City” by Jorge Almazan & StudioLab. Even if you’re not as fascinated with Tokyo urbanism as I am, this book is both brilliant & gorgeous. HT to @jasonthorne.bsky.social for recommending it. 3/

Richard Gere was a refreshing humanitarian voice. We all have a responsibility to care for one another.

The provinces must be accountable for every transfer payment dollar.

Proponents of carbon capture need to know what the scientific evidence is. So far, not a viable investment for the environment, or for the economy.
