My feeling is that LLMs have given people without skills in a particular domain the ability to be immediately ~average in that domain. Being suddenly average is a huge leap from incompetent, so it feels otherworldly.

I really question how much video clips actually lead to consumers of longer content. Because it seems like most people are just scrolling through tiktok and reels feeds and not leaving the platform to view that content elsewhere
