Getting rid of SBR instead of backing him and chasing Dyer, Jenas, Bellamy and the rest of the 'young guns'

The great managers always rebuild after 4-5 years. It's incredibly rare for a good/great side to stay on top longer than that. We're clearly seeing this with the current #nufc side imo, too. It would be a mistake to jettison Howe. We've made that error before. Let him rebuild.

There are parallels with Bobby's last full season at #nufc where losing to Partisan started a slow regression and the dressing room turned. Fat Freddie made the mistake of backing the players and turfing SBR out. On balance, Howe should be given the chance to build a second side imo 2/2

It's because they are all rotated in and out, regardless of form. In trying to keep them all fresh and happy, there is absolutely no stability or accountability. Howe is always better when he has to pick his best 11. When he had options, he struggles to use them.

Mentality has gone soft. Can't defend winning positions, or drawing positions for that matter. Lots of costly late goals already.

To be fair, that 36 yr old is a much better option up top then anything we have available. We've played the entire season so far without an actual centre forward. We all know why, and who is responsible for that state of affairs.

We lack quality up top. Our only out and out available striker is a raw kid. They had an experienced, high quality finisher. That, and Pope's absolutely inexplicable brain fart, are why we lost here.

Never seen a Jekyl and Hyde team quite like it. Has to be a mental issue at this point imo
