If there are players at #nufc angling for moves, and there are a few likely suspects, then get them moved and reinvest the money. If the team needs a restart, so be it. There are too many putting half arsed efforts in. If they want away, get top dollar and get rid.

It's easy to criticise prioritising the UCL but it's literally 2 million notes for a win in that comp. That late goal in Germany cost #nufc £1.2m. In a PSR/SCR world, it matters. By comparison, the League Cup winners get £100k.

None of that excuses the non-effort today, but context matters

Feels like the end of this cycle for #nufc Either the manager needs changing or (more likely) it's time to move out a fair few and build a new side. This one looks like it peaked at Wembley and, post-Isak, too many feel sorry for themselves or think they took are too good to be here 1/2

Circa £200m spent this summer and we've regressed, hugely. It's some achievement and in a PSR world, a catastrophic failure #nufc
December 14, 2025 at 5:41 PM
Gordon is taking the piss at this point btw. Barely swings a leg unless he's with England or is a UCL game. Where's his hunger gone? Where's the desire to let from the front? #nufc

Eddie Howe is an #nufc legend but he's not getting a tune out of these. And the 'he's not had any players' excuse ran out to the cost of circa £200m spent this summer. This season has been dreadful, really. We look shot, especially away from SJP. Maybe pressure on him, for the first time really.

Innocent people end up in our criminal courts.

Completely, terrifyingly innocent.

And all that stands between them and losing everything is a fair trial.

Politicians would do well to remember this when they tell us that justice is all about processing “criminals” swiftly.

Scored, sat back and waited to concede again. We've lost our bollocks so many times this season and again here...
Romero levels.

Lack of quality up top costing us again against high quality opposition. Can't carry that alongside erratic goalkeeping errors. Should never have lost this match, really #nufc
November 25, 2025 at 9:57 PM
That first goal looks worse every time you see it. What on earth was Pope doing? A completely reckless and needless way to undo an entire half of football #nufc
November 25, 2025 at 9:27 PM
Aubamayang showing what having a proper centre forward can do. #nufc don't have one available and it has shown all season
November 25, 2025 at 9:19 PM
This is the kind of away test #nufc have failed all season. It's time to show they've got the minerals. An abject horror show to start this half.
November 25, 2025 at 9:15 PM
It's all very familiar, this, from #nufc away this season. What on earth is Pope doing there??
November 25, 2025 at 9:08 PM
Anyone who thinks Howe should be under pressure is mental, obvs, but he's not getting a tune out of these at the minute. He doesn't seem to know what to do with all the new players he's got, and the subbing half a team on thing just doesn't work. He's got a job on, because we're crap atm
November 9, 2025 at 3:49 PM
You can only tell yourself 'it'll come good when it clicks' for so long. We're approaching the point at which we might have to accept that we've gone backwards, despite signing half a team in the summer. We don't defend, our midfield way off, we've no attack and subs don't help. Worrying times #nufc
November 9, 2025 at 3:46 PM
This second half has been a shambles. A rabble. Several parts of it are on the manager. Burn should never have been on the pitch after the first incident. Pope should have been stepped down after the mistake last week. It's nowhere near good enough from #nufc
November 9, 2025 at 3:42 PM
I'm trying to think of a worse performance under Howe, and can't think of many. Considering the opposition, this has been a shocker. Our away form is shocking #nufc
November 2, 2025 at 3:57 PM
This has been absolutely horrendous. No other way to describe it. A really worrying display. Our away form is atrocious #nufc
November 2, 2025 at 3:52 PM
Reality check for #nufc, this. Still think we'll make UCL if we win our remaining home games, but we've been handing beaten here.
April 19, 2025 at 6:05 PM
#Villa got battered there. 1-2 would have been a cracking result for them on the balance of the game, but #psg looked absolutely levels above there.
April 9, 2025 at 8:55 PM
Watching #psgvilla and can't help but wonder why we #nufc fans are so keen to upgrade to #ucl. I get the financial aspect, but we're a fair way short of this level (as we found last year) imo. Villa are desperately hanging on simply to avoid a hiding here.
