Agreed. I see him as a RH DH and Casas insurance. Still need to do something about 2b/3b. But with Alonso gone, he's a pretty good acquisition.

Well somehow the 77 team didn't make the playoffs. It was a Dodgers/Phillies NLCS in '77 and '78 iirc.
