This evening I made a leek quiche and a side salad topped with sautéed vegetables (eggplant, onions, garlic, and red bell peppers). I actually just pulled this out of the oven, so I don’t know how it tastes yet. How ‘bout we just say I’ll delete this post if it ain’t good?

THE THREE SISTERS ARE THRIVING! My homegrown pumpkin plants have started producing flowers. I was a bit slow getting these into the ground, but they really took off after I did.

If you love fries but not the calories, I highly recommend trying out celery root fries. I sprayed these lightly with olive oil cooking spray, then I sprinkled some garlic powder, salt, and paprika on them.
