- I made her get up and go see what fruit she wanted from the kitchen instead of going in there and listing the options to her waitress-style
- I didn’t “do something funny” like a court jester

- the McDonald’s employees forgot to give her a straw for her water (we live 4 minutes away)
- I wouldn’t play ball with her inside but she didn’t want to play outside
- I made her the dinner she asked for
- I told her I’d buy her a fancy cake for her birthday
