Professional figure painter (for hire! Contact via DM/e-mail!) in Vienna, Austria. Wargamer. I like liking things, but don't tell anyone.
cheers! Yeah, it worked out really well, I have to say. :)

Yeah, I think the flank thing makes the game more interesting. But then I play Rampant games about every 3 years or so on average. :D

We all know it's good, but it takes re-watching it periodically to see how good it really is.

Rather intrigued about the new abilities and most of all scenarios.

Do you play with flanks and facing? Those things are in there as optional rules, right?

Yeah, feels kinda 3rd-act-y. The bad guys even pretty much explained their evil plan to the audience. Time for the hero(es) to make it all good.

it's been ages since i watched the series. Maybe it's time to revisit it...

'Dysorderli Kin'. They love a bit of "kin".

wtf?

Just look up what's out there. I mean the kits themselves are all perfectly OK. Some poeple like to complain about older kits or whatever, but if it's just for wargaming, it doesn't really matter.

Or - better yet - go to your local model shop of choice and have a look there.

Apart from all the 3d printing options, if I was to stat to look for 1/72nd vehicle kits I'd go to scalemates

Scalemates, plastic modeling database | stash manager
Search thousands of kits, articles, walkarounds, books, events, shops... Connect with scale modelers and manage your stash of kits

Oh, a friend of mine just got into 20mm WW2, using AB miniatures. Those should be lovely. And go perfectly well with 1/72nd vehicles. That's the cool thing about 20mm - you got the whole 1/72nd scalemodel world at your disposal (and it's more sensible than 28mm anyway).

well, there's loads of 1/72nd model kits out there. Usually used in conjunction with 20mm figures.

I got a small collection of early 1980s BAOR I collected a while ago using Elhiem miniatures and Britannia tanks.

AS for WW2, I think PSC make a bunch of them.

Which scale or size?

Best Show --> "Partizan (either)"? Never been to (either), but I was under the impression that they were separate shows? Or is it by the same people, taking place twice a year?

"Two peas in a dot". Can't think of anything better, because I always wonder when I see these spray-on camo helmets - how common was sprayed/painted-on camo on German helmets? Of course they were all battlefield mods, but you see a lot of canvas covers and the wire and so on, never much painted camo

Yup, came with a metal backpack, like the one below. The one you got there I'm fairly certain is from the 3rd edition command squad, hence possibly a different sort. But Apothecary backpacks usually come with lamps and a camera and vials and such.

That is crazy. Did somebody shoot it out of a blundebuss at your tyre or something?

It's insane how beautiful these films are.

HMC was perfectly OK first time when I watched it, with each rewatch I grew fonder of it. It's class. And so pretty.
