The little reds make quite a ruckus & a huge mess as the migrate up and down Eastern Aus, making them less than stellar guests. They're just doing their job as pollinators of our native hardwoods, with a shrinking habitat. Here's that million of them flying out to feed from Kilcoy, 1/1/16.

Kilcoy, QLD, we had a colony of around 50,000 fruit bats living along the creek. (opposite my house)
One morning we woke to well over 1 million, smelly, pooping and screeching fruit bats. The cause, habitat loss out west.
