This is out of order time wise, My call on $WGO was off however I was half right the outlook is weak.

I'm in The Bay Area (Santa Clara County) in California. I always do a Mail In Ballot what I like is I get an email confirmation that my Ballot was recieved and my votes were counted.

Thats a possibility, the GOP has always been way better at Marketing to voters than Democrats. Also the Democrats lost a lot of voters who generally voted DEM. Look at the Muslim, Black, Latino votes we lost sure they all regret their votes now! The Israel/Palestinian thing was a doozy for Dems too
