Congratulations to South Africa. Test match Cricket at its finest, and why it’s still the best format if the game by a country mile. Riveting stuff.

❗ TODAY ❗

I'm proud to present my 🇪🇺 Youth Mobility Scheme Bill 🇬🇧 – a vital step to give young Brits the chance to live, work, and study across Europe.

The botched Brexit deal robbed them of these opportunities. It's time to fix that and reset our relationship with the EU.

Make no mistake. Every politician, pundit & online grifter amplifying Musk's dangerous lies will be aware of this intervention by now. Make no mistake, they are choosing to mislead the public & politicise the suffering of victims in the shameful pursuit of political advantage, attention & clicks.

Tomorrow's Independent front page revealing Brexit's catastrophic cost - five years after the UK left the EU.

- New bureaucracy
- Weaker UK exports
- Labour shortages in key sectors
- Less cash for public services
- Huge divorce bill
- 15% long term hit to UK trade

This is the price of populism.

People ask me what my hobbies are.
One of them is definitely Books.
Not just reading books and getting lost in them but the smell of books, going to (used)bookstores and libraries.
Who’s with me?

But the way so much of mainstream media cover subjects suggests it is in the top two concerns of the the everyday Brit

Proportional Representation won a vote in the Commons 138-136 today.

If the UK had Proportional Representation it wouldn't have had a Conservative Government since 1930.

Instead it has had 70 years of them.

Time to get PR done.

Anyway, here's the 'go slow' protest by farmers that blockaded the streets around Parliament following the Conservative Government's last Budget in March

Wind & rain throughout this Saturday’s match. Harpenden Town should have sown the game up, but had a 2nd half penalty well saved at 1-0. 10 man Conley Heath battled on & rescued a point from a late header. Nice pint of TT Landlord in The Oddfellows Arms pre-match.
